By downloading or using Respite Driver ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users of the App, regardless of whether you access the App via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Respite Driver is a break spot finder for UK-based delivery drivers, couriers, and professional drivers. The App helps users locate nearby laybys, car parks, toilets, retail parks, and hospitality venues using bundled OpenStreetMap data.
The App is intended for use in the United Kingdom only.
Respite Driver offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. Pro features include On the Way route planning and Street View preview.
Subscriptions are available on the following terms:
New subscribers to the monthly plan receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Free trials are available to new subscribers only and cannot be combined with other offers.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
The App requests access to your device's location to find nearby stops. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Location data within the App is sourced from OpenStreetMap and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any location data.
Always exercise your own judgement when selecting a stopping location. Ensure any stop you choose is safe, legal, and appropriate for your vehicle.
The App and all associated content, design, and code are the property of Harry Graham trading as HG Software. All rights reserved.
Location data is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors and is used under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harry Graham trading as HG Software disclaims all warranties including fitness for a particular purpose.
Harry Graham trading as HG Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We will notify users of material changes where reasonably practicable.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these terms will cease immediately.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the platform through which you downloaded it:
In the event of any conflict between these terms and the App Store terms, the App Store terms shall prevail in relation to the applicable platform.
